Most growers use Excel sheets to calculate their fertigation schedule. Others just use a combination of brand X bottle A and B; not really having a full understanding of their nutrient composition. With this project we've embarked to change all that. We are going to develop an open-source tool that can replace and overcome the limitations of using an Excel sheet for doing calculations from fertilisers to nutrients. It is also our hope that this will make using accurate calculations in plant nutrient composition more accessible and understandable to growers of all ages and experience levels. The tool will be an online, response web-based tool, which is quick and easy to use, without confusing complexity and registration processes to be accessed.
